Celiac Disease Letters:
Email from: Janine - October 12th 2004

Email!
Subject: Thank You

I had to write you a letter to THANK YOU!!!

I have celiac disease, so I cannot have gluten. My food choices have been so limited until now. I do love to cook, but sometimes it's nice to have that something special, a treat, that someone else made. The gluten free frozen meals, like enchiladas, stir frys, etc. that Amy makes are WONDERFUL!!!!!! The gluten free frozen cheese pizza is great!!

Amy's KitchenAll of the Amy's products that I have tried so far are, for lack of a better word, unbelievable! You can't tell they come from the freezer. Previously, I felt like an oddball because of my limited diet - I ate only what I or my husband cooked. And there are 2 restaurants that I can go to that don't cost a ton of money. I feel like a normal person now. I can have good pizza like everyone else. I can walk to my freezer and grab an enchilada meal to eat so my husband and son can order out Mexican food and we can all eat together. They don't have to feel uncomfortable because I CAN have Mexican food too (without having to cook) - AND IT IS GREAT! They can order pizza and I can have Amy's Pizza. NORMAL!!!! Well, I am sure you get the picture now.

I just can't tell you how happy Amy's gluten free foods have made me.....and my family!

With the Sincerest of Thanks,
Janine M. Filippone

Dairy Free Letters:
Email from: Melissa - September 28th 2004

Email! Subject: Roasted Vegetable Pizza

Amy's KitchenHello to everyone at Amy's Kitchen! I am not a strict vegetarian, but due to health reasons I have significantly reduced the amount of animal products in my diet. I am lactose intolerant and it is very difficult to find dairy-free products in the small town were I live. A friend of mine suggested Amy's products (which luckily I found at my local HEB Market), so I chose to start with the Roasted Vegetable Pizza. All I can say is WOW!!! This is the best pizza I have tasted in a long time! So good in fact, my husband wanted me to trade my vegetarian pizza for his 3-meat pizza (and he is a "strict meat-eater")!!! I am so glad to finally find dairy-free vegetarian meals that actually taste so good! Keep up the good work!

Thanks!
Melissa from Texas

Kosher Letters:
Email from: Donna Halper - October 3rd 2004

Email!Subject: I'm impressed!!!

So there I was in my local health food store in Quincy MA, trying to find something that was (a) easy to prepare, (b) reasonably healthy yet still good-tasting, and here's the tough one-- (c) kosher. I've kept a kosher home for years, but I usually have to drive to a kosher grocery 10 miles away if I want to find a varied selection-- there are very few kosher brands stocked in my neighbourhood because there isn't a large Jewish population here. Well, imagine my delight to find that several of your products had the mark for kosher certification on them; so I bought the gluten-free vegetable lasagna with ricotta cheese and tonight I had it for the first time. All I can say is YUM!!! What a wonderful product.

Amy's KitchenI don't normally write fan letters to companies, but I had to let you know how delighted I was to find you and to find a good-tasting and quick dinner entrée. Like many people today, I lead a really busy life (I teach, I write, I do research, I tutor, etc), and there isn't always time to cook healthy meals. You have certainly solved a problem for me, and I am very grateful. I look forward to trying more of your products, since they seem to be relatively low in calories and fat too-- another plus. Thanks again for such a pleasant surprise, and keep up the good work!!!

Other Special Diets Letters:

Email from: Laurie - December 14th, 2004

Email!Dear Amy,

Amy,one of your products literally saved my life. Had a undiagnosed/misdiagnosed issue -that occured after a surgery.

My quality of life was ridiculous for more than a 1 yr and 1/2. --Medications exacerbated the imbalances that were occuring. I no longer could eat or sleep..Imagine what that could do as well. Because of the rapid weight loss..I lost muscle. I was literally wasting away.

A caring person helped me with a progressive exercise routine....and my appetite began to get stimulated. I no longer could take vit's and I needed nutrition! And I needed my taste buds to get a pleasurable workout...with something--I wasn't force feeding myself. Most food's were just not cutting it. Though your soy mac n cheese--gave me the protein and taste I was searching for.

Now..because of my tried and true diet..and weight baring and cardio exercise program- prayer, the way I think..I am not on any medications,my healthcare is out of the hands of the healthcare system..and I maintain myself--w/5 small meals a day....1 of them usually being the soy-mac-n-cheese. My beginning stages of osteoporosis has even been reversed.

I would like to know which foods you have that do not have carrots, stringbeans..(because believe it or not..tests revealed an allergy)...and which are totally vegan..even without milk protein.

I am not a complete vegetarian..though I have other reasons for the milk protein to be eliminated. Also any new products on the horizon? And lastly..would you be willing to send me some coupons? My condition severely affected my finances..and I never want it to affect my my large and regular purchases of your product. Thank You..for delivering such a quality line. Please respond.

From Laurie

Email!Subject: Love your products

Amy's KitchenAmy, I just wanted to let you know that I love your products and they are weekly staple in my diet. I became very sick several years ago losing 40 pounds in a month. In the end, it turned out that I had a lot food allergies and your products were one of the keys to my return to health.

Thank you for making such healthy and easy to make food. You are doing work that impacts a lot of people, and I appreciate the impact you have made on my life and the life of my family.

One suggestion, you may want to explore is making a lower sodium line of soups.

Keep up the good work. I'm enjoying a bowl of your lentil soup right now. Best regards,

Nathan

Email!Subject: Great Job!

Dear Amy's,
I have only this year become acquainted with your product line.  It doesn't seem to available back home in North Dakota, but my school, the University of Houston, introduced the product line into the on-campus Convenience Stores this year.

Your products are really very good, comparable to homemade and restaurant quality foods.  In fact, if I were served certain Amy's products I would not even know any better.

What is best about the food is that it contains absolutely no MSG or other free glutamates (I am allergic to the nasty stuff and don't like the taste as well).  Your products are the only pre-prepared dinner products that I have come across without having some form of MSG in them.  I guess that I could probably have gone to a health food store to buy adequate pre-prepared dinners, but I am glad that Amy's is expanding towards supermarkets and convenience stores.

Thankyou very much for providing such a great meal; also, please keep expanding to new markets,
Your Devoted Customer,
Andrew Reiten
