Celiac Disease Letters:

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
Thank you so much for your gluten-free meals!  I used to eat several of your products as a vegetarian, but now I also have celiac disease. So, knowing everything is vegetarian and then finding many items gluten-free AND available at my grocery store is just a super treat!  And I can't wait to try the pizza!

The Tofu scramble was my most recent purchase and I loved it!  Thanks a bunch for making my busy (but gluten-free) life easier.

Dear Amy,
I would like to commend and thank you for all the great gluten free food you produce, especially the pizza. I have celiac disease and finally there is great food for the freezer that does not taste like imitation. Two of my children also have celiac disease and they are so happy to be able to have good pizza with their friends.
Last, I am a physician and have been recommending your food to my patients. I believe you should advertise that you have a gourmet gluten free menu in the family practice, internal medicine, and gastroenterology journals. Physicians don't know about you and are at a loss when patients complain that they can't stay on the GF diet, or that they can't keep their kids on the diet because there is nothing good to eat!!! If I can help in this regard please don't hesitate to call on me. I speak as a physician and patient!
Thank you, Marc Rosenblatt

Dear Amy Creationists,
My mother has celiac disease and has been religiously gluten-free for three years. Gluten free products have come a long way but I just want to send kudos to the folks that created the new gluten free mac and cheese. After sampling some for myself, I highly recommended it to my mom. She's going to be very excited and you may see a spike in sales in Las Vegas where she lives--she may eat it every day for a little while. Seriously, thanks for putting tasty products together for people that have very little choice.

Best Regards,
Liz

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
I just tried the Rice Macaroni and Cheese for the first time - it is incredible! I am a Celiac and miss eating "comfort" foods like that! I would highly recommend this dish to anyone and everyone - not just Celiacs. No more "blue" boxes in my cupboards. My daughter will love this too! It's so rich and creamy! Thank you for always going above and beyond for those of us with special diet requirements! All of your products are awesome!

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
I just recently decided that I needed to get serious about a gluten free diet.  My husband is vegan and we often enjoyed your non-cheese vegetable pizza...now what to do??

Imagine my delight when I found your rice crust pizza.  Now we have our cake and eat it too by halving the pizzas and each having the variety that fits our diet with a big salad.  Yum and THANKS!!!

Dear Amy,

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and have been trying to navigate through a whole new world of terminology while searching for hidden ingredients. Unfortunately I'm not much of a brown-bagger and I keep forgetting to bring my lunch to work. While on a search for a good lunch I saw your dinners at a small center city market.  I usually avoid prepackaged meals but it was rainy and I wanted a warm meal. Just as I was about to cry because it looked like I was going to have yogurt for lunch again, I saw Amy’s - the only gluten free option in the store.  So I went for the rice pasta lasagna.  And it was delicious.  What a pleasant surprise!  I can’t wait to try a few more entrees.  I believe you have a customer for life.

Thx. Rosetta

Dear Amy,
Thanks so much for your frozen meals that have no wheat! My 22-month-old son has multiple food allergies and cannot have soy, wheat, peanuts or eggs. He loves the rice macaroni and cheese. He recently tried the rice crust pizza (which I know does have soy lecithin). I was so excited to find something "normal" that he could eat. Do you have any other products that have those limitations? Please let me know. There are several stores where I can buy your products (health food and Major supermarkets). Thanks so much for making feeding my son with multiple allergies a little bit easier.

Colleen

Dear Amy,
I am allergic to wheat and think I have celiac disease, but am not diagnosed. I am also a vegetarian the vast majority of the time. I want you guys to know how much I love your food and how much I love being able to buy frozen dinners that don't make me sick. Sometimes I get grumpy looking at all the food is can't have, but being able to enjoy your products eased that a lot for me. Plus, when I have to eat at my desk at work, the smell of your food makes my coworkers jealous!

Thank you!

Soy Allergies

Hi,

I just wanted to encourage you to keep up the great work and to PLEASE keep making lots of products that are completely soy-free. Just 2 years ago I developed a severe soy allergy and cannot consume soy in any form or use it in any beauty products. It's nice to find some grocery story items that I can still purchase. Your selection of soy-free items is most wonderful. Keep'em coming!

Best,
Jody

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
I am allergic to soy products- do you realize that soy is in EVERYTHING now. Even though I cook for my daughter and husband in the evening, I am home during the day.

I am an author who is steadily working on my computer all day, and I love a quick soup for lunch. Until I found Amy's, I was stuck eating stuff I shouldn't be (soy or unhealthy). Now I can type away, while I enjoy one of your many varieties of soups! A great big thank you!

Dear Amy, I just stumbled on your products today in our supermarket! My two daughters ages 2 and 10 months are allergic to diary, eggs and peanuts. Thank you so much for your great products! It is nice to not have to make everything from scratch now.

Dear Amy's,
Thank you so much for creating your line of yummy and nutritional dishes. You have such a fantastic range of good, easy-to-cook dishes. This is what fast food should be!

For me, I use your products especially when I am pregnant as I have a glucose intolerance and have to control my carb intake and match it with a high protein diet. It is so easy for me to use your products to do this as you clearly label the nutritional info and most of your dishes are just PERFECT for someone following a gestational diabetes diet: 45g or less of carbs and 10g plus of protein. And I know my babies are getting good, organic food to boot. Without Amy's I would have found following the diet so difficult. Your products have been a life-saver to me. And I'm sure my babies have appreciated the contribution too.
Thank you so much!

Gemma

(pregnant with #2 baby, mother of 22 month old son) PS Thanks also for introducing all your Indian recipes.

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,

I have multiple food allergies, including to wheat, and I am so happy to have discovered your Rice Crust Cheese Pizza -- it's really delicious!!  I missed pizza so much, to the point that I've considered trying it (regular wheat pizza) at the consequence of suffering the allergic effects.  But now I don't have to suffer!  Your rice crust pizza actually satisfies my pizza craving.  I've tried other rice crust pizzas (including ones I've invented myself) but none comes close to the quality and taste as yours.  Thank you so much for creating this.

Sincerely,
Marla Coppolino

Dear Amy,
My favorite comfort food anytime --day or night, light meal or snack.......Amy's Shepards Pie! THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING SUCH WONDERFUL PRODUCTS! Especially when I'm trying to figure out what I can eat that's non-dairy (dairy allergy), low sodium (severe hypertension), and mild enough to avoid triggering GERD heartburn. You're the best and so are your dietary icons that make for easily seeing what I should and shouldn't choose. I gather up info from your website and then head to the store knowing the items I should be looking for. Have a great day! Thanks again!

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
I was recently diagnosed with an intestinal disease.  Red meats were on my list of items that I should avoid.  I thought that it would be difficult as I love a good burger. Thanks to your delicious Chicago Burger, I don't feel like I'm missing anything.  Now, some of my beef loving friends are requesting your burger instead of beef.  Thanks for the tasty food!

WOW!  This is my 2nd email this morning to you.  I just finished perusing your website completely and it is WONDERFUL!  Very helpful and informative.  The testimonials were inspiring for me as I've always battled with my weight and at 56 I'm STILL doing so.  I have had health issues that keep me struggling to keep the weight down and am pre-diabetic on meds to keep it "pre".  Your products I believe are going to help me in this battle; I am going to make a concerted effort to eat more of them and stock my freezer.  How about making more desserts like cookies and small pocket pies??  Fruit drinks too??  THANK YOU and keep on truckin'!!  ^_^

Amy's KitchenDear Amy,
As I have had a severe dairy allergy my whole life I'd become rather accustomed to disappointment with 'quick fix' foods.  Everything either had cheese in it, on it, or didn't taste like much of anything without it.  One day I saw the Amy's Kitchen Roasted Vegetable pizza with a big "No Cheese" on it.  I was amazed.  I've since come to love all your non-dairy products and even appreciate their clear, up-front 'Non-dairy' labeling, it's nice to save a few seconds at the grocery store in between ingredient checking every other item.  I'm not one to usually write letters to distant companies but your company makes my life a little bit easier, and my dinners a little more delicious.  Thanks.

Amy's KitchenHi,
As a person with hypoglycemia, it's great to have a product like your burgers. I love the Texas burgers with their high fiber and protein, they keep my blood sugar regulated for a long time. Thanks for a great product that both tastes great and is good for my health.

Dear Amy,
I just wanted to tell you how amazing I think your food is. I have a lot of food allergies, so it pleases me that your food excludes certain things. I also think it's cool that ur food isn't flooded with soy and tofu like many other vegetarian products(I mean it is a common allergen) (your California burger as an example). Anyway, I appreciate that your food is organic, nutritious and whole. Even if I didn't have food allergies I'd eat it a lot anyway! It tastes amazing and its real food, not processed. I'm sure you know all of this but you are one of the only companies I've ever come across that understands what healthy food should be like, I mean besides fresh produce and things one must cook by themselves. Anyway, i just love it! keep it up and hopefully other food companies will get a clue!

Dear Amy,
I just wanted to let you know that your Light in Sodium Vegetable Lasagna is incredible. I am stunned beyond belief how wonderful it was. Lower sodium meals are usually bland, but this one is so favor full! I even re-checked the box!

Thanks for the wonderful product.

Dear Friends at Amy's: I am enjoying your products. My wife and I have been "lacto-ovo" vegetarians most of our lives and really appreciate the wholesome meals you produce. We often take them to work to heat up in the microwave. It's almost like eating out! Please, don't ever compromise your high standards! Busy folks like us need a company like yours.
Best wishes, Bob Burns
