Our Take
Lower sodium content in frozen meals?
I’m
listening. This month, Our Take highlights a line of new products
from Amy’s Kitchen: Amy’s Light in Sodium frozen
meals. The products dare to maintain taste while removing sodium
content — a feat few frozen food makers have accomplished.
We tested the product to determine whether or not food processors
have to give up taste when they deplete sodium.

salt to suit my taste
Nick Roskelly, managing editor
With less sodium, ingredient flavors
come to forefront
From Italian to Mexican dishes, these
meals offer variety
Heating needed more time than indicated
Mark Styczen, graphic designer
Great value for the money, perfect for
lunch
Great taste, well balanced, lots of
flavor
Hard to read the packaging.
Portion box got a little soggy
Product package doesn’t look as
appetizing as it could. Warmer colors would be more effective
than the stark white.
