Road Test: Frozen Pizza

Real SimpleCheesy in a good way

You can delete the neighborhood pizzeria from your speed dial. After trying more than 50 different frozen cheese pizzas-and casting aside dozens that tasted like their boxes Real Simple's tasters found three that really deliver.

AMY'S CHEESE PIZZA

Testers loved the sauce on this pizza, which is made from organic tomatoes and has a "sweet, natural plum-tomato taste" with "just a bit of a spicy kick." Everyone liked the "rustic olive-oil flavor" of the crust, which baked up with a tender, "foccaccia-like texture," but it did have a "curious orange tint." TO BUY: $6 for a 13-ounce pizza (3 servings), available in most supermarkets and natural-food stores nationwide.
