Refried Bean and Green Onion Grilled Cheese

This is no ordinary grilled cheese- packed with spiced Amy’s Organic Refried Beans and softened green onions, eat it hot and eat it now!

- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry the green onion and red chile for 3-4 minutes until softened and lightly golden.
- Lay out the 4 slices of bread. Divide the Amy’s Organic Traditional Refried Beans between 2 slices. Top with the softened green onions, red chile and a mix of grated cheese. Place the 2 slices of bread on top and spread both sides of the sandwiches evenly with the soft butter.
- Return the frying pan to a medium-low heat. Put the sandwiches in the pan and cook for 3 minutes before flipping, pressing down and cooking for a final 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and oozy and the grilled cheese is golden brown.
- Slice in half and enjoy straightaway.
Pro tip
Delicious served with ripe sliced tomatoes and crisp lettuce.
